July 2022: Release #1

This release features the following enhancement.

  • A new web service call, Get User by Date Range, reports all candidate accounts created or modified during a user-specified date range. It is now available and documented in the Integration API Specification.

June 2022: Release #2

This release features the following enhancements.

  • Full candidate name (i.e., John Doe)

  • Primary Phone number (i.e., area code and phone number)

  • Address (Address 1, Address 2, City, Province/State, Country, Postal Code)

Targeted, single-term searches are available by

  • Login

  • Email address

  • Candidate ID

These options complement the existing search functionality, which is retained in the new Criteria drop-down menu > Default option.

  • The Vouchers module now allows assignment of multiple vouchers to one individual for a particular voucher batch. This is made possible by a new Include Assigned? option in the Assign Candidates screen.

  • In addition, for easy reference, assigned vouchers are now listed in the Voucher Details Mode > Candidates screen, adjacent to the candidate name.

June 2022: Release #1

This release features the following enhancements.

  • New guidance addressing potential test security issues associated with inappropriate test candidate eye movement has been added to the topic, Standard OLP Session Alerts.

  • A new Activate Deactivate Voucher Batch web service call is now documented in the Integration API Specification.

  • During the biometric profile creation process, candidates who have both an internal and external webcam will now see both options listed in the Video device (input) drop-down menu without needing to exit and relaunch. This functionality also appears in the camera selection page when launching an exam.

This release features the following enhancements.

  • The checkbox column of Item Banks module screens that incorporate COPY and MOVE buttons now display larger checkboxes. The purpose is to make selection of multiple listings easier. The new checkboxes appear in the...

  • During extended candidate - Kryterion technical support chat sessions, candidates and technicians alike automatically see the latest entry input by either chat participant. Manual scrolling is no longer necessary.

  • API calls that capture a candidate's registration "eventdate" now display the correct time of registration in Mountain Standard Time (MST). Previously, those APIs displayed the eventdate in local time. The following API calls include the eventdate field:

  • Get Registrations by Date Range

  • Get Registrations by Hash Key

  • Get Registrations

  • Get Registrations by Product

  • Get Transcripts

  • Get Transcripts by Date Range

April 2022: Release #3

This release features the following enhancements.

  • The Name field in Exam records now accommodates a maximum of 125 alphanumeric characters. The previous maximum was 80 alphanumeric characters.

  • The candidate password reset link will now remain viable for a client-specified time period. Example: 1 hour. Previously, candidates were required to define their new password immediately after clicking the reset link.

April 2022: Release #2

This release features an enhancement to Kryterion's coupon functionality.

Clients can now control candidates' ability to redeem a coupon by their Webassessor account email domain. More specifically, this enhancement lets clients limit coupon redemption to candidates whose email domain of record matches predefined domain options.

  • Site administrators can now select and view results for all client regions, simultaneously, in management screens associated with the Candidates and Assessments modules. February 2022

This release features the following enhancements:

  • The Select Start Time menu in the Date and Time Selection screen has been reformatted. It now shows available exam registration time slots in 24-hour clock time followed by the corresponding AM/PM time. Example: 14:30 (2:30 PM). The new format will appear to both candidates and administrators, for both onsite and online registrations.

  • The Kryterion Support 2022: U.S. Holiday Closure Schedule has been updated to reflect this year's holiday closure schedule.

  • The Inappropriate Environment guidance presented to candidates taking online proctored exams has been revised. It no longer indicates that proctors must see the candidate's ears.

  • As of this release, release notes will be published exclusively to this page in the Webassessor Users Guide. Kryterion will continue to send email notifications advising of future scheduled downtimes and upcoming planned releases. However, the specifics of each feature will only be published here.
