Proctors
Learn how to manage private proctors in your network.
Access to certain features is restricted based on role type in an effort to reduce item exposure and promote process integrity. Please see the member role description page for information on permissions.
Proctor Management Screen
The Proctor Management Screen lists all proctors available in the current region, allows you to conduct keyword-based searches for specific proctors, and enables you to create and access records.

Create Proctor Account
The following fields are needed to create a proctor account:

Webassessor automatically assigns Inactive status to proctor accounts in which no activity has occurred for the preceding six months.
Notes
When you select ‘Next’ in the account creation, you will be required to transfer at least one item from the Available Testing Centers section to the Assigned Testing Centers section before you can successfully save the new proctor record.
Make sure you have existing private testing centers created prior to creating new proctor accounts.
Proctor Details
When you go to an existing proctor account, you will begin on the ‘Details’ tab of their account and have a variety of actions you can take:
Edit - Edit the account details:

Email Address

Active/Inactive

Done - return to the previous screen
Send Welcome Email - sends an email to the proctor with their login, a link to generate the password, proctor security code, and a sample assessment authorization code
Send Password - emails the proctor a link enabling (re)generation of a personal password
Send Auth Code - emails the proctor a security code
Practice Test - email the proctor a registration confirmation for the "KCP Sample Test." The email includes a link to WA so the proctor can login and complete the test, plus a single-use "Candidate Authorization Code." The latter is required to complete registration for the sample test.
Proctor Registrations
The Registrations tab will show you registrations that the proctor is assigned to be proctored. The details of these registrations include:

Proctor Instructions

Date Scheduled
Additionally, you have the option to filter the list of registrations by:
Scheduled
In Progress
Completed
Testing Locations
The Testing Locations tab will show you a list of all testing centers in your private network that the proctor is assigned to. The details of this table includes:
Status
Testing Location Name
City
Province/State
Country
Postal Code
You can manage the assigned testing centers by clicking Assign, which is described in the following section.
Assign Testing Centers to Proctor
Click Assign in the above section takes you to the page pictured below. You must have existing and available testing centers in your network to be able to assign a proctor them. On the left side, you will see any available testing centers. You can individually move them to the right to assign them or assign them all at once if desired. Once you click Save, that proctor account will be assigned to the designated testing centers in your netowrk.
