Test Forms
Learn how to create and manage test forms.
Access to certain features is restricted based on role type in an effort to reduce item exposure and promote process integrity. Please see the member role description page for information on permissions.
Test forms act as a container for all the test questions you plan to deliver in an exam from one or more item banks. Follow these steps to create and manage your test forms:
Steps to Create a Test Form
Navigate to Test Forms
Go to the main menu, click on “Assessments” and then “Test Forms”
Create a New Test Form:
Click the new button to create a new test form.
Provide a title for the test form. Ensure it is descriptive and easily identifiable.
Configure Scoring Settings:
Adjust the scoring settings according to your requirements.
Add any relevant comment/feedback settings if applicable.
Save the Test Form:
Click Save to create the test form.
Add a Topic:
After creating the test form, click on the test form title to open it.
Click Add Topic to create a topic for your test form.
Use Case for Topics: Topics can represent different sections or areas of focus within the exam. For example, you might have topics like "Admin Configuration," "User Management," etc.
Add Test Items:
Once you have at least one topic, you can start adding test items.
Click into the topic and then click on the Add Items button.
Add all test items that should belong in the topic.
Publish the Test Form:
After adding all the necessary topics and items, the final step is to publish the test form.
Click Publish. Test forms must be published before they can be included in an exam.
